Dinamalar: Stalin banned.. Didn’t anyone in DMK says “GoBackModi”?

Whenever Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Tamil Nadu, trending on Twitter as “GoBackModi” has become a regular occurrence. Against this, the BJP members trends on Twitter as Vazhga Modi, Welcome Modi to welcome him.

However, the Dinamalar published an article that MK Stalin had advised his party members to refrain from criticizing Modi on social media when he comes to Tamil Nadu to launch new projects as the DMK is currently in power.

In addition, the headline reads “Stalin banned to criticize Modi” but the article has no authentic information on Stalin’s instructions.

However, unlike what was reported in the Dinamalar paper, DMK members and supporters took to Twitter to post “GoBackModi”. “GoBackModi” is still a trend on Twitter today.

 

DMK Joint Press Secretary Rajiv Gandhi tweeted on his Twitter page using the hashtag “GoBackModi”. It was retweeted by Mannargudi MLA and DMK IT team secretary TRB Raja.

 


Since the DMK is in power, those in charge of the ministry have gone to welcome the Prime Minister. However, many of DMK’s IT  Wing executives and supporters have been posting tweets on their Twitter page using the hashtag “GoBackModi”.
