Is Corona curing if Gayatri Mantra is recited? | AIIMS study!

The number of cases of COVID-19 infection in India is increasing day by day. Meanwhile, Rishikesh AIIMS Hospital is conducting a study on whether Gayatri Mantra and Pranayama breathing exercises are beneficial in treating corona infection.

The Central Department of Science and Technology has provided Rs 3 lakh for such a study. There is also a formal application to the Medical Council of India (ICMR) for a study.

This study is being conducted on people with a moderate risk of corona infection. Outlook reports that 20 moderately ill patients will be divided into two groups, Group A and Group B, with one group being taught the usual treatment for COVID-19, while the other group being taught the practice of chanting the Gayatri mantra in addition to the usual treatment for COVID-19 and practising pranayama breathing.

An approved yoga instructor will teach through a video conference to train patients. Those who practice Gayatri Mantra and Yoga during the 14-day long trial will submit a scientific report on the change in health.

Dr. Ruchi Dua, a pulmonologist and associate professor at AIIMS Hospital, told The Hindu: “This will examine whether their physical fatigue is reduced and their anxiety is relieved. It also involves a postcolonial researcher doing research on yoga. Furthermore, studies will be conducted over the next 2 or 3 months on how C-reactive protein reduces inflammation in the lungs. Recruitment for such a study has already begun. ”

Patients suffering from corona are chanting Om and Gayatri mantras daily in the evening at Anand Hospital in Meerut in August last year.

In India, Ayurveda and Yoga are being implemented in the treatment of corona as an adjunct treatment with drugs and vaccines for the asymptomatic or moderately affected. They are currently studying whether Gayatri Mantra can be used as an additional treatment.
