Ventilators transported in a garbage truck in Gujarat has gone viral on social media!

The video of a garbage truck carrying ventilators from one hospital to another in Gujarat has gone viral on social media.

The video, which was released on The lallantop channel, is being shared on social media. Ventilators were taken from one hospital in Gujarat to another in a Surat Corporation garbage truck.

The number of people affected by corona infection is increasing day by day across India. In Surat, Gujarat, the number of new cases of the corona is reported to be 500 per day. Public and private hospital beds are also filling up as the number of patients increases. Similarly, the demand for ventilators is increasing.

In this case, permission was granted to supply 20 ventilators from Valsad Civil Hospital to SMIMER Hospital. The video was allegedly taken by the public when more than 20 ventilators were taken to SMIMER Hospital in a Surat Corporation garbage truck.

Surat Corporation Commissioner BN Bani and Valsad District Collector RR Rawal have said that an inquiry has been ordered into the incident after the video went viral on social media.

The incident in which more than 20 ventilators sent for use to corona patients were sent in a garbage truck without being properly packed has come under heavy criticism and has gone viral on social media.
