Kangana Ranaut first said India got freedom in 2014. Now said that Subhash Chandra Bose is the first PM of independent India!

Bollywood actress and Padma Shri awardee Kangana Ranaut is known for her outspoken views. During the Times Now Summit 2021, she said India got real freedom in 2014, when the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government came to power. In 1947, we gained independence.

She also said why Gandhi let Bhagat Singh die; she said she extensively researched the first fight for freedom in 1857. She stated, “Why did Gandhi let Bhagat Singh die, and why is it a sudden death for Bose? Why Neta Bose was killed and never got Gandhi’s support. Why was the line of partition drawn by a white man? Instead of celebrating freedom, why did Indians kill each other? Some of the answers I am seeking, so please help me find answers.”

Kangana’s recent controversial incendiary remarks made social media users troll her again. She was trolled more this time because she is going to contest in the Lok Sabha election from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Ruling party has given the ticket for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. Kangana is a huge supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and her political stand is totally right wing.

Once again, at the Times Now Summit 2024, Kangana made yet another claim. In this summit, she said Neta ji Subash Chandra Bose is the first Prime Minister for India

It all started when Times Now anchor Navika Kumar once again asked Kangana Ranaut, “In the same stage you said we got independence in 2014, and later you were trolled in social media as well as I was also badly trolled by netizens.”

Kangana replied, “Tell me what I said wrong! Did Britishers chain us? All laws and systems were made by Britishers. Then tell me how we are in dependence. We are dependent on our ideology; we don’t have independence for our ideology; we can’t elect our people, but again, after independence, we were ruled by foreigners, and again, the policies were decided by foreign countries. We don’t have freedom for our ideology; we can’t practice our religion. We are mocked for being Hindus in India.

Navika replied, “but the people are saying we lost our independence now because Narendra Modi is a dictator.

Actress and BJP leader Kangana Ranaut caused a commotion when she misidentified Subhas Chandra Bose as India’s first prime minister. “Tell me one thing: when we got independence, where did India’s first PM, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, go?“, Ms. Ranaut asked in a television interview.

For this reason, Navika said, “he was not the first minister“. Kangana says, “exactly why he was not the first Prime Minister of Independence. Where did he go? Where did he disappear? He disappeared from this face of the earth.

Navika Kumar asked her if Congress made him disappear. Although Kangana Ranaut’s false statements have sparked a meme on X (formerly Twitter), they have also highlighted a little-known historical event in which Bose proclaimed India free and established a government in which he served as head of state.

On October 21, 1943, the liberation warrior, also known as Netaji, established an Azad Hind (Free India) government in Singapore. During World War II, Subhas Chandra Bose announced that he was the Minister of War, the Head of State, and the Prime Minister.

Subhash Chandra Bose was a prominent leader in the Indian independence movement, but he did not serve as the Prime Minister of India. The first Prime Minister of India was Jawaharlal Nehru, who served from 1947 to 1964.
