Actor Yash has been campaigning in support of the Janata Dal (secular) and BJP candidate, suggesting a stable government in the 2018 assembly elections in Karnataka. 
In Krishnaraja Nagar, he is campaigning for Janata Dal (Secular) candidate Sa Ra Mahesh and at the same time for BJP candidate SA Ramdas in Mysore for Krishnaraja constituency.
