Narendra Modi’s photographers work tirelessly. Sometimes even risking their lives.

We’ve seen security personnel running along with, hanging on to or hopping on to the sides of Chief Ministers’ or Prime Minister’s car for security reasons. We’ve seen that in many cases of country heads’ and state heads’ cars. However, in a bizarre incident, a photographer can be seen hanging on to the car with his camera focused on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This incident took place in Gujarat during the Prime Minister’s visit to the state in 28th August 2022. In August, Narendra Modi visited the poll bound state to inaugurate various schemes in addition to unveiling “Smritivan”, a memorial built for the commemorate the victims of 2001 earth quakes that rocked the state. Before the unveiling the memorial in Bhuj, Narendra Modi attended a road show in which he waved at his supporters and the public who had gathered there. As Narendra Modi was waving at the crowd by hanging out on his car, a photographer can be seen hanging on the other side of the car taking pictures of Modi. The entire road show can be seen in a video published by Narendra Modi’s official YouTube channel.
This video has become viral recently and the Uttar Pradesh Congress has also shared the video in its official twitter handle.

Following this, Telengana Rashtriya Samithi’s Social Media Convenor Sathish Reddy had also tweeted “Modi ji & his affection towards photo shoot is better love story than twilight! XD”

In the video shared by Sathish, Narendra Modi can be seen asking many to move aside so that he doesn’t obstructed from the camera’s view. Narendra Modi can be seen asking many to move aside which also include Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg. In the past, some users have ridiculed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his frequent costume changes. Some can be seen here and here.

Apart from costumes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also criticized or mostly ridiculed by several social media users for waving at empty places such as tunnels, lakes, bridges as if he is waving to a crowd. This has been reported in some news sites as well which can be seen here, here and here.

Narendra Modi’s love for the camera, the desire to click a good picture and yearning for a good video is well documented and at the same time heavily criticized by the opposition of being self-obsessed, megalomaniac and narcissistic.
