Did the Sakthiman actor boycott Amitabh Bachchan on Twitter?

The Indian superhero TV series “Sakthiman”, which became popular in India in the 90s, is still popular today. Many fake Twitter IDs are currently operating under the name of the actor Mukesh Khanna.

On the fake Twitter page @NationalistSG, which operates under the name of Mukesh Khanna, “I boycott Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Who is with me? ” Tweet received more than 32,000 likes.

Recently, there were allegations of drug trafficking in Bollywood. BJP MP and Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan were talking about the drug problem in Bollywood. Jaya Bachchan, a Samajwadi Party MP and the senior actress, responded by saying that the film industry was being attacked on social media to divert attention from key issues, including the country’s economy and unemployment. BJP MP Jayaprada had accused Jaya Bachchan of politicizing Ravi Kishan’s claim.

In this situation, in the name of Mukesh Khanna’s on Twitter, someone tweeted as, “Boycott Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.” Similarly, many tweets have been there like supporting and opposing. A tweet in support of BJP MP Ravi Kishan has been posted on the Twitter page launched in September 2020.

Actor Mukesh Khanna has told India Today that he has only one Twitter account, @actmukeshkhanna, since 2018. Apart from this, the rest are fake Twitter accounts. He said there was as action against those Twitter accounts.

Commenting on the boycott calls against some Bollywood stars, he said, “Stop looking at the pictures of actors who use and support drugs. People only made us stars, so irresponsible actors who are in the grip of drugs should be punished by the people. I support ignoring the pictures of such movies which are supporting drugs,” commented Mukesh Khanna.
