TATA Steels pay salary to the family of its employees who died of Corona till age 60!
Tata Steel, the Tata Group, has announced that it will pay salary to the family of its employees who died of Corona until the descendent employee reach the age of 60.
Tata Steel said in a statement that It will be offered under the Tata Group’s Social Security Scheme, which includes not only the salary but also medical services.
They said, “Tata Steel stands together with a deep sense of loss at the sad demise of its beloved employees during these dreadful pandemics. For all the yesterdays they developed to help create a beautiful tomorrow, Tata Steel best in class social security schemes will help ensure an honourable standard of living for their family will get the last drawn salary till 60 years age of the descendent / nominee along with medical benefits and housing facilities” the statement said.
They also said “In addition to this, for all its frontline employees, who as part of their job meet with an unfortunate death due to COVID-19, the company bears all expenses of their children’s education till their graduations in India.
The company always have been a shield of steel, supporting its stakeholders at all time. This time no different. Tata steel family stand stoically with all its people, committed to their security and well being.”
