Publicized a sweeper as MLA by Annamalai amplifies criticisms due to his property value .. Who is he?
The ruling BJP has won the Uttar Pradesh elections and is back in power. In this context, Tamil Nadu BJP leader Annamalai posted a video on Twitter of BJP candidate Ganesh Chandra speaking in Lucknow, claiming that a BJP-backed sweeper had won in Uttar Pradesh and that this was the real social justice.

As the video was shared by many Tamil Nadu BJP members, details including the property value of the successful sweeper on behalf of the BJP were taken and Annamalai’s tweet was tagged and posted on Twitter.

Ganesh Chandra, who is allegedly a cleaner. He owns land worth Rs 1.68 crore out of total worth of Rs 1.7 crore. He has a loan of Rs 15 lakh in the bank too. He owns 3 bikes. This graduate has no criminal charges against him.
Moreover, Ganesh Chandra, who worked as a cleaner from 2009 until he decided to contest in elections. He has voluntarily retired. He has bought agricultural land for 38 lakh in 2013 & 2015 with the money he had deposited and taken a loan from the bank.
Currently, the value of the land is about 1 crore 28 lakh rupees. The value of the property he has purchased has increased in 8 years. About Rs 15 lakh of the bank loan, he took to buy the land is still outstanding today, ”the BJPians tweeted.

Who is Ganesh Chandra?
He was born in 1986 in the village of Moodadiha in the Chand Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. His father is Suresh Chandra Kothanar. Ganesh Chandra graduated from Pandit Deenadayal University in Gorakhpur in 2008
During his school days, he joined the RSS and joined the association. In 2009, Ganesh Chandra joined the sweeper. In the same year, Safai became the Block chairman of the Karamcharis organization.
In 2010, his father contested and lost the panchayat elections. In 2014, Ganesh Chandra won the state-level post of Safai Karamcharis Association. He was not offered seats in the BJP to contest the Assembly elections in 2017. In 2021 Hansar made his wife run for election to become Leader of the region and was defeated. Safai Karamcharis resigned before running in the 2022 election.
