What is the truth?

When searching for keywords from the claim, 27, October 2022 dated NDTV article titled ’Looks Like Vin Diesel? 3D Model Of “First Human Made By God” Is Viral’ is found. This article reveals how the image went viral.

It all started when Twitter account ‘Alamo Drafthouse NYC’ shared this image on 27, October 2022. It was also mentioned in the following tweet on 28, October 2022 as “Just a reminder that we’re a movie theater, not an academic journal. That said, here’s our soundcloud: drafthouse.com/nyc”.

The same image was found published on ‘Art Station’ website six years ago with the caption “Riddick (Vin Diesel) fan art. At last I finish texturing, fix some forms and did some render in keyshot.”

Vitaly Tenishev, a 3D character artist from Russia have designed the art. Several other similar images are found on the website.

Though this claim was debunked by many of the fact checkers, it is still being shared even by the verified social media accounts including news media outlets.
