What is the truth?
When reverse searching the viral video keyframes and further searching with relevant keywords we found that the video is not only old but is also from Darjeeling and not Manipur.
A tweet dated 6, October 2017 by Rifat Jawaid, Founder of ‘Janata Ka Reporter’ is found carrying matching visuals from the viral video. The video is captioned “BJP’s Bengal chief Dilip Ghosh attacked in Darjeeling, leaders thrashed mercilessly by Gorkhas”.

ABP News Youtube channel reported a news on 6, October 2017 with the title “Attack on BJP President Dilip Ghosh in Darjeeling”. This video also carries matching visuals from the viral video.
When West Bengal BJP Chief Dilip Ghosh arrived to take part in the ‘Vijaya Sammelani’ of party members in Darjeeling, a scuffle erupted between the BJP supporters and the agitators. They also asked the BJP leaders to leave immediately by raising slogans and waving black flags. Diljp Ghosh tried pacifying the agitators but he was heckled. The agitators also attacked the BJP leaders. The meeting was cancelled and the leaders left the place to escape from the brutal attack, reported NDTV.
