What is the truth?

When searching the viral image with Google Lens it is found that the viral image is edited and fake. To confirm whether the circulating photo has been edited, we first analyzed the circulating photo through the Foto forensics website using Error Level Analysis method.

From the result, we came to know that Kannada characters have been photoshopped on auto (ಶಬ್ದ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿ..!! ಹಿಂದೂ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ) and it is translated using Google Translation as, “Sh..!! Don’t make noise. Hindus are sleeping.

We further searched and the results led us to know that the actual photo was found on Depositphotos website titled “Auto rickshaw on a Road in Delhi” by EugeneF. Multiple other links also resulted in displaying the actual image of the auto with different angles which can be seen here. So we confirmed that this photo was taken in Delhi, not Karnataka.
