A scripted video is used to allege Bihari workers are attacked in Tamil Nadu.
A reporter named Manish Kashyap make yet another false claim on migrant workers attacked in Tamil Nadu.
Look at this photo of Tejashwi Yadav removing glasses, there are wounds on the faces of the laborers and the mobile number of the media who has recorded it. Once you talk, you know you are lying and the labourers are really upset in Tamil Nadu. At the same time, if you talk about ethnic census, then once you ask these people about caste, you will get a little peace in your heart. And yes, what has been killed in Tamil Nadu is true that lies will be known only by your administration. But Bihari laborers go out of Bihar and are killed and driven away, you people are responsible for this. Let me tell you one more thing, Tejashwi Yadav ji, perhaps you people have become used to listening to lies while lying in speeches. That is why Manish Kashyap’s truth seemed to be a lie to you people. I do not spread lies about the labourers and poor of Bihar but show their truth and you do not want to see that truth.
A reporter named Manish Kashyap posted several photos on twitter and claimed that the men in the photo are Bihari migrant workers who got beaten up in Tamil Nadu. He had called out Deputy CM of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav to look into this issue. This allegation had come at a time when several such allegations were levelled and even the BJP Bihar made such claims which turned out to be a ruse. Almost all such claims made in social media turned out to be false. So, these pictures claiming yet another attack on migrant workers raises doubts on its authenticity.
What’s the truth?
When we did a combination of reverse image search and keyword search, we were able to find out that the photos posted by Manish Kashyap had been taken from a video in YouTube. A channel named “BNR NEWS REPORTER HONEY” had uploaded a video on 6th March 2023 and clips from this video had been shared virally in social media with claims of violence against Bihar migrant workers in Tamil Nadu.
However, the video from the channel “BNR NEWS REPORTER HONEY” is a scripted and staged one. The description of the video itself states a disclaimer which reads, “This Video is inspired my Real Videos of Famous Digital News channels. We have created an imaginary content which is based on Viral Videos. Our only motive to give you knowledge and information about Viral Videos in an imaginary way. Do Not Take it Seriously.”
Another video from the channel with similar disclaimer can be seen here.
Tamil Nadu Police had tweeted the same with a message that strict legal action will be taken against Manish Kashyap.
You can’t cheat everyone, every time. Please see this video. This incident, not happened in Tamil Nadu. It is purely a scripted one. Please verify the fact and tweet. Stern legal action follows – Tamil Nadu Police. https://t.co/r7bX5mrwJf pic.twitter.com/ZgMEQGse8h

YouTurn’s Editor-in-Chief Iyan Karthikeyan had already tweeted that the video is a scripted on 8th March 2023.
The video's description itself says its staged. Using this scripted video, hate mongers are seeking justice.

Manish Kashyap’s twitter handle is not active at the time of writing this article. There is a twitter trend going on supporting Manish Kashyap protesting the legal action against him for spreading misinformation. According to some news reports (see here & here) Manish Kashyap has been a habitual offender and there are several cases pending against him.
Entire right-wing ecosystem such as the RSS, BJP, VHP etc had been claiming that Manish Kahsyap is a nationalist reporter and are condemning the legal action taken against him. Some of the noted people to have come in support of him include Prachi Sadhvi, Arun Yadav, Yogi Devnath. The archived links can be seen here, here and here. The claims made in Manish Kashyap’s tweet is false. The people in the photos tweeted by him are actors in a staged and scripted video.
