Explanation

The group of people is shown in the 28-second footage. A woman can be seen sitting inside a concrete square that has water inside it. Another old woman and a couple of men encircle her. A man is seen arguing with bystanders amid this event to get the girl out of the water-filled tank-like structure. During a disagreement like this, they get into a physical altercation. The woman sitting in the water is then brought out by a man. He informs them that if they keep her in the water tank, she won’t become pregnant. At last, the video concludes with everyone leaving the water tank.

Furthermore, according to our search on his page, he is a digital creator and has included links to both his Facebook and YouTube pages for business collaborations.

We took this as a cue and researched further and found his YouTube page which has many such scripted videos. This means the shared viral video is not real.

The viral video of a woman being held in a water tank and being saved by a guy is a carefully staged production rather than a real incident, as the claim implies.

Conclusion:

Therefore, we deduce that the widely shared video depicting a woman drenched in water due to a superstitious notion that she will give birth to a child is a meticulously crafted piece of work.
