What is the truth?

When we checked the video, the building does not look like a temple. Moreover, it was mentioned as a ‘Supermarket’ with LED lights in front of the building.

West Midlands Police, England replied to the viral tweet that the claim is false and explained that the fight seen in the video is connected to a car parking issue and nothing related to the claim.

The West Midlands Police mentioned the incident as a fire at a supermarket caused accidentally in Birmingham on 19th September. When searching the keywords, the ‘Dailymail’ article dated 20, September 2022 with a picture from the video clip was found.

With further search, ‘Mirror’ has published the viral video in an article dated 20, September 2022 with the title ‘Shocking moment watermelons thrown as fight breaks out near fire-hit supermarket’. It also mentions the name of the supermarket as ‘Zeenat store’.

When searching for Zeenat Supermarket, images found on Google and buildings in the viral video match.

Conclusion
