The photo was featured in a Hindustan Times report on November 24, 2015, when we did a reverse image search of the Canadian Prime Minister participating in a protest by Sikhs in Canada went viral.
The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau has visited the gurudwara and Hindu temple in Ottawa ahead of Diwali 2015. The photo taken during his visit, which shows Sikhs sitting around him, is being misrepresented as he participated in that protest.
Hundreds of people in Canada are also marching with banners in support of the struggling farmers in Delhi. But there is no information that the Prime Minister of Canada attended such rallies. The farmers had only expressed support for the struggle.
