Explanation

The students of Christ University, Bangalore celebrated ‘Ethnic day’ and ‘Bhasha Utsav’ on 28, October 2022. Following this event a video is shared with a claim that song ‘Bharat Ka Bachcha Bachcha, Jai Jai Shri Ram Bolega’ was played on ethnic day at Christ University, Bangalore. This video is viral on social media platforms including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

What is the truth?

When searching for the source of the viral video, we found the Instagram post of Pratham Makhija on 29, October 2022. The description of the viral video says ‘CHRIST UNIVERSITY in Parallel Universe’ with a disclaimer that the video is not real and that he has added the song/audio to it. And the description seem to be edited 19 hours before writing this article but the video was viral even before that.

The audio of the song ‘Bharat Ka Bachcha Bachcha, Jai Jai Shri Ram Bolega’ was added to the video captured at ‘Bhasha Utsav and Ethnic Day’ celebrated at the Christ University, Bangalore.

Another claim that ‘Bharat Ka Bachcha Bachcha, Jai Jai Shri Ram Bolega’ was chanted at Uppal stadium during the T20 cricket match between India and Australia was fact-checked earlier by YouTurn.
