Vijayendra Yedyyurappa tweeted a 23-second video with the caption “It was an honour to welcome our Hon’ble Home Minister & beloved leader Shri @AmitShah Ji today. Sir, meeting you is a great uplift to everyone’s morale & your words have always been a source of inspiration for us”. The video clip shows Amit Shah choosing to receive the bouquet from Vijayendra first and then from Yediyurappa.

India Today and other media outlets are also seen reporting the same. Video of Amit Shah choosing to receive the bouquet from Yediyurappa’s son Vijayendra first is seen on the India Today site with the title “Amit Shah meets Yediyurappa in Karnataka, insists on receiving flower from son Vijayendra first”.
He is also seen receiving the bouquet from Yediyurappa in the next few seconds of the video. But this part of the video is clipped and shared to claim that Amit Shah refused bouquet from Yediyurappa.
