Claim

The corporation pays to whitewash both sides, but it was only whitewashed on the side that CM would see and left the other side untouched. People hate DMK because of such blatant looting – Dravidian wall.

Explanation

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu was to travel via Ramanathapuram-Pothanur road to attend a government function to be held at Eachanari, Coimbatore. Selva Kumar, a member of the BJP, posted on his Twitter page that the jersey barrier in the middle of the road was painted and looks bright only on the side towards which the Chief Minister is going, while on the other side of the block which is not visible to him is not painted. BJP members are making these photos viral on social media.

What is the truth?

In the photo shared by Selva Kumar on Twitter, it was seen that there is a shop called JK AUTO PARTS. Searching its name on Google Maps revealed that it is on Nanjundapuram Road.

When we contacted the owner of a salon shop on the same road, he said that both sides of the jersey barrier were painted and that after painting one side, the other side was painted.
