We ran a keyword search, and we found the tweet from the official X handle of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah: “The investigation into the explosion that took place at the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru is going on in full swing. Strict action will be taken against the culprits, for sure.

Preliminary investigations revealed a small improvised explosive device; more information will be available after the full report.

It was reported that the person who had taken the token from the cashier and had breakfast there left the bag. Around eight people were injured in the incident. Fortunately, all escaped unhurt. Checking the CCTV camera. The investigation is going on, and the Home Minister has been asked to visit the place. Clear information will be available soon.

Such an incident should not have happened in the state. Another such incident happened in Mangalore. Whoever did this will be found out, and strict action will be taken against them.

Opposition parties should not play politics in such matters. Everyone should now cooperate with the government.”.

Additionally, we also found the tweet from Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, D. K. Shivakumar, that “the home minister paid a visit to the spot where the explosion took place at Rameshwaram Cafe, White Field, in Bengaluru today. He also inquired about the health of the injured people. It was a low-level blast, thankfully not a dangerous one. We trust our police. The culprits will be found soon.”

Even ANI reported,’Karnataka  CM Siddaramaiah visits the Rameshwaram Cafe, a day after a low-intensity explosion took place here in Bengaluru’.

Furthermore, we found the tweet from the Commissioner of Bangalore City that “an investigation is underway into the occurrence at the Rameshwaram cafe. Working on various leads that have been found thus far involves multiple teams. The media is asked to cooperate and refrain from speculating, given the delicate nature of the case and the security risks involved.”.

The Bangalore Police Commissioner said this case investigation was handed over to the City Crime Branch (CCB).

According to the CM Siddaramaiah tweet, we found out that it was a small improvised explosive device found during preliminary investigations, and soon the whole report will provide more details. So it clarifies that the blast was not caused by an LPG explosion, but rather a well-planned low-intensity blast.

Not an LPG cylinder, but a small improvised explosive device (IED) was placed in a bag and later it was detonated in the Rameshwaram cafe, as per the preliminary investigation.
