Now Bilawal Bhutto is viral on Twitter and Facebook with the claim that he danced for the ‘Besharam Rang’ song from Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan movie. A video is shared with such a claim and the posts can be seen here, here, here, here, and here.
What is the truth?
When searching the Instagram page ‘Cyed.Haider’ mentioned in the viral video, we could not find any relevant post from any of the resulted accounts. When searching with the keywords ‘Bilawal Bhutto dancing’ on google, multiple news media outlets reported that the video of a man dancing to Besharam Rang song from Pathaan movie is not Bilawal Bhutto but his doppelgänger Mehroz Baig.
The Economic Times reported that the dance performance during the occasion of Mehroz Baig’s sister Inaya’s wedding is shared with the claim that Bilawal Bhutto grooves for Besharam Rang song.
When searching for Mehroz Baig’s profile, we found one of the Instagram posts by Inaya Khan mentioning Mehroz Baig as ‘Besharam Rang dance partner’.
Their profile also shows videos of them dancing to other songs during her wedding.
Conclusion
It is found that Bilawal Bhutto’s look-alike Mehroz Baig’s dance video for the song ‘Besharam Rang’ is misidentified as Bilawal Bhutto.
