The Ram temple’s consecration ceremony took place on January 22 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Social media users are sharing numerous images and posts that purport to be connected to the Ram Mandir inauguration.
In this instance, a 12-second clip of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni speaking in her native tongue has gone viral online. This widely circulated video purports to be a message from the Italian PM to Hindus regarding the Ram Mandir. You can view some posts with similar claims here, here, here, and here.

What’s the truth?
Using a Google reverse image search, we began analyzing the viral video and discovered the original post on PM Meloni’s official X account. The upload date was January 15th. The post was captioned in Italian as “Grazie. Siete la mia forza!.” When we translated this Italian caption to English it read “Thank you. You are my strength!”

According to the translation of EzDubs, we found out that PM Meloni said, “Thank you all for the birthday wishes you sent me privately with posts on social media, so much encouragement which I will treasure, you are my strength, I love you” in English.”
Likewise, the same audio translation tool is used by another user to translate it to Hindi can be seen here.
The video released by Italian PM Giorgia Meloni is essentially a thank-you note for birthday wishes she has received, as the information above makes abundantly evident. On social media, this video is spreading misleading stories.
Thus we conclude that the viral video claiming that the Italian PM sent a message to Hindus on the occasion of the Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya is false.
