Recently, a video featuring Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has gone viral, purporting that he endorsed Congress and Kamal Nath in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections.
In this video, Kartik Aryan gets down from a luxury car, and he expects that his fans are excited to take selfies with him but they are very excited to hear about the plans and poll promises of congress.

This video was shared by many Congress supporters and Congress representatives on X handles with verified accounts which can be seen here, here, here and here and their handles are @shaandelhite, @iAkshitSingh, @RavinderKapur2 and @AabidMagami with such claims.
What is the Truth?
We first ran a related keyword search to check if Kartik Aaryan has featured in any of the Congress advertisements. We were however unable to find any such video featuring Kartik Aaryan. We then broke the video into keyframes and ran a reverse image search with one of the keyframes from the video.
Then we found a video uploaded to Kartik Aaryan’s official Instagram handle. The video is an ad campaign by Disney Hotstar to promote their free streaming of Cricket World Cup 2023 matches.
The DisneyPlus Hotstar uploaded the original video on its Youtube channel on 23, September 2023 with the title “Baaki sab padega feeka | Kartik Aaryan | DisneyPlus Hotstar”. This ad video is edited and is being spread by many Congress supporters to make it appear that Kartik Aaryan featured in a video supporting Congress poll promises. It shows Kartik Aaryan is supposedly supporting and doing advertisements for Madhya Pradesh Congress Party and for their poll promises.
On 30, October 2023, Kartik Aaryan also took it to his X handle along with the original version of the video to clarify that it is the real advertisement and that the rest are all fake. He also has tagged DisneyPlus Hotstar X account in his post.

Conclusion
The viral video is an advertisement video which is edited and shared by Congress supporters with false narratives. Actor Karthik Aaryan and Disney Hotstar denied any association with Congress.
