Did Rahul Gandhi say he will stop Bharat Jodo Yatra when it does not work?
BJP IT wing head Amit Malviya continues to spread misinformation about Rahul Gandhi.
As long as it is running… when it does not work, we will stop it…
How will it go like this, prince?
Amit Malviya, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) IT Wing head, had tweeted a video recently with a quote implying that Rahul Gandhi said that he would continue to the Bharat Jodo Yatra as long as it goes well and if it does not go well, he would stop it. Kuljeet Singh Chahal, the General Secretary of Delhi BJP and Harsh Chaturvedi, the State Co-convenor of social media also spread the video with a caption that the Bharat Jodo Yatra is timepass activity for Rahul Gandhi.
What’s the truth?
In the 9-second video shared by Amit Malviya and other BJP personalities, Rahul Gandhi can be heard saying “its going on well right. If its not working, we’ll stop it.” Congress’ Member of Parliament Imran Pratapgarhi shared a longer video of 16-seconds, in which Rahul Gandhi was asked about his T-Shirt, which had been a topic of discussion over the last few days as he was wearing it in the Delhi cold.

Kumar Vikrant Singh, National Affairs Editor of TV9 Bharatvarsh, had tweeted the 16-second clip minutes after Amit Malviya’s tweet in which he had said that he had asked Rahul Gandhi if he would continue with the T-Shirt for which Rahul Gandhi laughed & responded that the T-Shirt will go on till it can go on.

From this, we can conclude that the reporter’s question about Rahul Gandhi’s T-Shirt is muted or edited to make it inaudible and shared by BJP’s Amit Malviya.
- Amit Malviya spreads falsehood on Rahul Gandhi. Again.
- Amit Malviya falsely claims Jitendra Singh tied Rahul Gandhi’s shoelace. Republic TV spreads it.
Amit Malviya, the controller of the BJP’s IT Wing and other BJP personalities share a misleading video with a claim that Rahul Gandhi had said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra would stop when it doesn’t work anymore and also claimed that Bharat Jodo Yatra is timepass for Rahul Gandhi.
