Speaking in front of the people at the village council meeting of DMK leader MK Stalin, he said that the AIADMK government would provide Rs 2,500 to the families holding ration cards. Back then, a 19-second video claiming that Rs 1500 is needed to be worth Rs5000 from Rs2500 was going viral on social networking sites.
DMK leader Stalin’s MLA account, speeches including his proverbs are highly trolled on social networking sites. Currently 2500 + 1500 = 5000 Stalin’s speech is being teased and the video is going viral.
But the truth is that this video was edited. It is clear that the cut was made in the video.
Stalin’s speech at the DMK’s People’s Village Council meeting on December 28 in the Ranipettai-Ananthalai panchayat was broadcast live.
In the 31st minute, “I announced that the government should immediately provide 5000 rupees to the people who lost their livelihood during the Corona period. They did not accept it and declared it as 1,000 rupees. But now, with the election coming up, they have announced that they will give 2,500 rupees for Pongal. I just welcome it. But, first I said 5,000. You paid 1000 rupees for it and now it is 2,500 rupees. How much is left for 5,000 now, 1500 rupees, ”Stalin said.
