A video purportedly showing a doctor talking to a woman in hijab initially getting attacked by a person later is shared widely in Twitter with a claim that a local doctor in Spain gets attacked by a radical migrant husband just for asking his wife to remove hijab for medical examination. A few posts claim that he was beaten up for commenting about the woman’s hijab. Some of the posts with such claims can be seen here, here, and here.

What is the truth?
When reverse searching the keyframes of the video and searching with relevant keywords we found that the video is old and is said to be from Siberia.
A Daily Star article dated 28, September 2021 is found with matching visuals from the viral video. The article reported that the dermatologist was beaten up by the husband for calling his wife’s skin ‘beautiful’. The attacker was house arrested after charging with hooliganism. The article identified the husband as Bakhriddin Azimov and the Russian dermatologist as Vladimir Zhirnokleev.
According to RT article the incident was happened on 21, September 2021 in Nizhnevartovsk, Siberia. Reportedly the doctor asked the woman to show her elbows, stomach and back and did not ask her to undress. He found no issues to concern about and said, “The skin is beautiful”.
As per the doctor, he simply gave a positive judgement after inspecting his patient. The woman complained to her husband that the medical examination did not comply with the ‘Muslim Law’. Bakhriddin Azimov, the Tajikistan born husband of the woman mentioned that the doctor complimented his wife which is not befitting his principles.

This viral video was posted by RT Russian Twitter account on 23, September 2021 with a telegram link to the news report. The report credited the video to ‘TV channel N1 Nizhnevartovsk’. It also added that the victim said that women in hijabs had come to him before, but there were no problems.
Conclusion
It is found from our search that the viral video is from 2021 when the dermatologist in Siberia was beaten up by the husband for calling his wife’s skin beautiful. The claim that the doctor was beaten up by the husband just for asking his wife to remove hijab for medical examination in Spain is false.
