As the election for the post of President of India is going to be held on July 18, this picture is going viral on the social media sites in India that Draupadi Murmu, who is contesting on behalf of the BJP, met and received the blessings of the RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur.
Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan, journalist Pragnya Gupta and many others posted the image on Twitter and raised questions. However, those Twitter posts have now been deleted.
What is the truth?
When the image of RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat bowing to the Bharat Matha is reverse searched, photos taken when Mohan Bhagwat attended the All India Representative Sabha meeting of the RSS organization in Gujarat on March 11 have surfaced on the RSS Twitter page. In those photos, there is another person next to Mohan Bhagwat.

A photo taken in 2022 when RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat visited Gujarat is being morphed into a picture taken in Jharkhand in 2020 and is being falsely circulated.
Conclusion
The photo of BJP’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu meeting and receiving blessings from RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur has been found to be a morphed image.
