In this instance, a picture of a boarding pass or aircraft ticket bearing Rahul Gandhi’s name is going viral on social media, claiming that the senior Congress leader could not take the loss and would be traveling to Bangkok, the Thai capital, on June 5.

What’s the truth?

After examining the circulating photo, the flight number on the boarding pass is found to be different in two places. In one place it was marked as ‘UK121’ and in another as ‘UK115’.

The widely circulated photo is featured on an article on the website “Live From a Lounge” that was published on August 9, 2019.

Through this article, it is known that this is the boarding pass taken by Ajay Avdani when he traveled on Vistara’s first international flight. Additionally, it makes it quite evident that the departure date is August 6, 2019, from Delhi to Singapore.
