Dear Hindus be very scared, this is not from Azamgarh or Aligarh…. This is from Hindu Devbhoomi Haridwar, Uttarakhand
The Uttarakhand State Legislative Assembly on Wednesday passed the Uniform Civil Code, Uttarakhand, 2024 Bill. This makes Uttarakhand the first state in the country to implement a Uniform Civil Code, which presents common law for marriage, divorce, inheritance of property, etc.

Here in this 16-second clip, a sizable crowd of Muslims can be seen crossing the street. We understand that someone is filming this incident from a building’s balcony or another elevated spot. This post is shared with a claim stating, “Dear Hindus be very scared, this is not from Azamgarh or Aligarh…. What’s the truth?
Using one of the keyframes from the viral video, we performed a reverse image search and discovered that the same video was posted on Facebook on 3 May 2022.
The post by Bharatvarsh24x7 News is captioned as “Thousands of people offered Eid ul Fitr prayers on the occasion of Eid at Jwalapur Eidgah. Maulana Mohammad Arif, Maulana Mohammad Abdul Wahid say to Pradhan Times.”
As we searched more thoroughly, we found another Facebook post from a user that included the viral video dated 3 May 2022. The mosque and a sizable crowd of people strolling down the street are depicted in the video, which was taken from the same location.
Also, we have included a comparison image of the viral video screengrab and the Google Street View image of Eidgah in Jwalapur, Haridwar for the reader’s reference below.
All of this makes it clear that the video is outdated and was uploaded online in May 2022.
Thus, we conclude that the viral video is from Haridwar but is not related to the Uniform Civil Code. In reality, the video was recorded during Eid in 2022.
