A Thanthi TV news card dated June 24 went viral on social media. That News card claims that H. Raja, a senior leader of the Tamil Nadu BJP said, “If the DMK is an elephant, then the AIADMK, which separated away from it, is the elephant’s dung. But now AIADMK becomes Pillaiyar after they have joined with us”

Speaking on the Governor’s speech in the Legislative Assembly, Opposition Leader Edappadi Palanichamy quoted a proverb for example “the bell ring first, and the elephant comes later… but now there is no bell and no elephant in this DMK’s report. ” Chief Minister MK Stalin responded that, “I commend him for saying us an elephant. Let me inform you that the bell will be rung only for the tamed elephant, DMK is an elephant, no one can tame it. ”
Following this context, a Thanthi TV news card went viral claiming that H. Raja had made such a comment. While searching for it we found that H. Raja did not make any such comment and no such news was released, only edited fake news is going viral.
