H. Raja, a senior leader of the BJP and candidate for the Karaikudi Assembly constituency, A post claiming as he asks as “are not the people of the northern state Indians?” A post has been circulating on social media saying that they were told what was wrong with giving reservations to the Tamil Nadu government and private companies.
They are spreading the image on social media in the name of a post published in Vikatan News Card that H. Raja had spoken. The post, which was shared on the Vedalai-ta-Umar Facebook page, has been shared by more than 10,000. Readers are being asked about its authenticity.
Fact Check:
When we searched for the post whether H. Raja had said that it was not wrong to give reservation to the people of the Northern State in the work of Tamil Nadu, no such news was available. Searching for Vikatan news has not yielded such records on the viral image.
Following this, when contacted by Vikatan’s officials, they replied, “No such record has been published for the last 3 months.”
Next, when we contacted the Tamil Nadu BJP’s Kamalayam, A official spokesperson says “this is fake news”. No additional information was provided cut off the call.
Vikatan News Card, which went viral, said in December 2018, “BJP did not come to power by the people of Tamil Nadu vote. H. Raja’s elusive answer to the question as to why the Prime Minister did not come to visit the place affected by the Gajah storm. ”

Earlier, in the name of the BJP, someone had spread that in its election manifesto that 50% reservation would be given to northerners in Tamil Nadu government and private sector to promote national unity. As an extension of this, they are spreading the wrong message as H. Raja said that what is wrong with giving reservation to the people of the North.

BJP leader H Raja’s claim that what is something wrong with giving them reservations in the Tamil Nadu government and private companies” is false and it is possible to find out that they are spreading the Vikatan News Card through Photoshop.
