What’s the truth?

As we searched for the origins of the video, we found that this particular incident happened in Pakistan. In Pakistan’s Hyderabad, there was a complaint made by a local shopkeeper Bilal Abbasi against Ashok Kumar for insulting Prophet Muhammed. The complaint also turned out to be false and fabricated. But that didn’t stop an angry mob of fanatic Muslim men from storming Ashok Kumar’s house which can be seen in the video. This has been covered in the Economic Times on 22nd August 2022.

A video titled as “Hyderabad Saddar mobile market” has been uploaded on YouTube on 21st August 2022 and it shows the full picture of the incident.

Moreover, Sindh Police Hyderabad has posted in Facebook along with a photograph that Ashok Kumar has been arrested on August 21, 2022.

A video of an angry mob of Muslims trying to enter the house of a Hindu man Ashok Kumar’s house in Pakistan’s city of Hyderabad has been widely circulated with a wrong claim that this happened in India’s Hyderabad, in the state of Telangana.

Conclusion

In our search, we found that the video claiming that Muslims trying to enter a Hindu’s house is not from India at all. This is from a similarly named city of Hyderabad that is located in Pakistan. So, the claim that this incident happened in India is fake.
