A Puthiya Thalaimurai news card claiming, “Subsequent deaths of students due to NEET is worrying. It is making to think if DMK is killing students by making false promises in the election – Journalist Senthilvel”, is viral on social media.
What is the Truth?
When searched for the viral news card, it is found that on September 15th the Twitter account @Senthilval79 has posted the news card along with a description, “I’m not going to give up on this issue. What happened to the promises made? (Tagging M.K.Stalin). You are creating a space for us to join with Seeman. If it happens, a mega protest would burst in Tamil landscape”.
However, Twitter account @Senthilval79 is bogus and @senthilvel79 is his real account. Fake tweets are being posted through this fake account. We have busted a few other misinformation that was shared from this fake handle earlier.
When we reached Puthiya Thalaimurai to know about the authenticity of the viral news card, “this was not published by us. This is fake”, they answered.
