What is the Truth?
The award claimed as Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award is originally Param Vir Chakra. This can be seen on the ‘Indian Air Force’ website.
The official Facebook page of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has posted Param Vir Chakra’s image 5 years back.
‘Getty image’ website has posted several images of sporting honour Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award. The award has Ashok Chakra in it.
Conclusion
It is evident from our search that Tamil Nadu BJP and a few of the news channels have used Param Vir Chakra image in place of the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in their posts.
