West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been attacked and injured in the leg ahead of assembly elections. However, the Chief Secretary of Bengal had submitted a report to the Election Commission that Mamata had been hit in the leg by a car door. Opposition parties have stated that all these are drama for elections.
In this case, a photo circulating on social media that Mamta, is discharged from the hospital, but now the bandage on her right leg. Similarly, two photos have been shared on social media sites, including WhatsApp, showing that in the hospital Mamtha had a bandage on her left leg. Similarly, a photo of Mamta Banerjee getting up and walking from a wheelchair is being circulated all over India.
Mamta is brought to the hospital in a wheelchair with a bandage on her left leg, but now some social media users mirror the image and claiming that bandage on her right leg.
Next, they share a photo of Mamta Banerjee getting up and walking in a wheelchair from the hospital.
But, this is also a photoshopped photo. The photo, taken in 2012, is Photoshopped as Mamtha walking near a wheelchair.
Explanation
In our search, we came to know that the photos that claimed to be West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s leg bandage changed and she was walking from a wheelchair outside the hospital were photoshopped images.
