New York Times does not publish crocodile picture by comparing Prime Minister Modi crying!

During a video conference with doctors and pioneers in Varanasi on the Corona 2nd wave, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to those who died by the corona and the news spread across India that the wave had lost many loved ones from us.

Following this, a page of The New York Times went viral on the front page of the newspaper with a photo of a crocodile shedding tears mocking as the Prime Minister of India cries.

Fact Check:

A search of the New York Times news website revealed no such news. Following this, while searching for the newspaper page published on May 21, another news item appeared on the home page.

They have edited and spread the photo of the crocodile in the published photo about Syria.

On the parody Twitter page of The Daily New York Times, the newspaper posted the photo as a satire. The photo, which was mis-edited to make a parody, is being spread as if it were genuine.

Explanation

In our search, the New York Times did not publish a photo of the crocodile shedding tears as the Indian Prime Minister cried, but was able to find out that it was an edited photo.
