When searched for the video of kidnapping a girl in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, 25th May 2020 dated Zee News, News 18 and Navabharat Times have published an article on the viral video of kidnapping a girl in broad daylight.

News 18 reported, “a viral video of a girl being forced into a car in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh has panicked the people in the area. On March 10, a 22-year old left her house to live with her boyfriend. The girl’s family registered a complaint in the police station. When the policemen informed the family about her, the family rushed to the place and brought her back forcibly. The video where they forced her to get into the car went viral.

The police department talked with both parties after knowing this incident. Though the family was not interested in the girl living with her boyfriend, the police permitted the girl to go with her boyfriend”.

 

The girl was forced into the car by her own family but is being circulated with misinformation without knowing the facts on social media.
