Meanwhile, photos of renovation work being done are shared by DMK members to claim that the renovation process at Cuttack government hospital in Odisha is going on in full swing on account of the PM’s arrival. What is the truth?
When reverse-searching the viral images we found that the images are old and unrelated to the Odisha train accident.
India Today article dated 1, November 2022 is found carrying the viral images mentioning that the entire civil hospital in Morbi was filled with cleaning staff and renovation work was done ahead of PM’s visit to the hospital to see the victims of the suspension bridge collapse in Morbi that killed more than 130 people and left many injured.

A tweet dated 1, November 2022 by Das Vanthala is found carrying the viral images with the caption “Morbi hospital painted ahead of PM Modi visit”.

Multiple news media carrying the viral images are found mentioning that the images are related to Morbi civil hospital renovation work before Modi’s visit. The hospitals, roads, and other infrastructure were renovated hours before Modi’s visit. In fact, new water coolers and hospital beds were also installed in the Morbi civil hospital ahead of Modi’s visit.
Multiple old and unrelated visuals are being claimed as the Odisha train tragedy by social media users, some of which are fact-checked by Youturn.

It is found that the images claimed as renovation work of Odisha’s Cuttack hospital ahead of Modi’s visit after the Odisha train tragedy, by DMK supporters is false.
