A video is being shared with the claim that the women are sex slaves kidnapped from religions other than Muslims from India and Bangladesh by ISIS. Some of the posts with such a claim can be seen here and here.

What is the truth?

When reverse-searching the keyframes of the viral videos and searching with relevant keywords we found that the video is an adt performance.

The original video is found posted on a TikTok page with the caption “By: Aryan Rafiq, Art performance, The Unheard Screams Of The Ezidkhan Angels, 2023”.

With further search, Aryan Rafiq’s Facebook page is found with an image about the art performance ‘The Unheard Screams Of The Ezidkhan Angels’. The event is dated 8, March 2023 and the location is stated as Erbil city. When searching for Erbil city, the location is identified as capital of Iraqi Kurdistan.

Earlier, videos were shared with the claim that women are sold for 100 Pakistan dinars and are shot in the streets of Afghanistan. Youturn fact-checked and published an article on the same.

Conclusion

It is found that the video is an art performance at Erbil City, Iraq and not sex slave market in 21st century by ISIS as claimed. It is falsely claimed that the sex slaves are non-muslim women who were kidnapped by muslim men.
