Allegations arose on social media that Azaduddin Owaisi, the leader of the AIMIM party and a Hyderabad MP, had split Muslims’ vote and led the BJP to victory in the Uttar Pradesh elections.
In this case, the photo is going viral in India that Owaisi is sitting and talking with Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the RSS.
What is the truth ?
On December 21, 2021, it was reported that the Uttar Pradesh Congress had shared a photo of Mohan Bhagwat with RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat and Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh while searching for a viral photo of Owaisi with Mohan Bhagwat.
Actually, the photo was taken during a meeting with the British embassy in 2017. Owaisi had posted the picture on Facebook. The picture taken in 2017 has been edited and misrepresented along with the picture of RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat taken last year.
Conclusion:
Based on our search we affirm the photo that showed Owaisi with RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat was fake. Both of them are edited and spread incorrectly.
