Some photos have gone viral on social media, claiming that clash between the army and police in the Karachi area of Pakistan have escalated.

Let’s see one by one and find out the authenticity of the photos spread across India in connection with the tense situation in Pakistan.

Photo 1:

While reverse searching the photo it was found on the website www.independent.co.uk on September 30, 2013, reveals that 37 people were killed and 75 injured in a car bomb blast in the Peshwar region of Pakistan.

Photo 2:

The photo was featured in a news release on tribune.com.pk on December 8, 2015 under the headline “Govt won’t surrender Karachi operation gains.

Photo 3:

A reverse image search of the next photo reveals that the third photo was published on December 29, 2009 on edition.cnn.com with the headline “Death toll rises in Karachi suicide attack”. This is a photo taken during the security forces’ investigation into the suicide attack in Karachi.

Photo 4:

The photo was published in a news page on the Chinadaily.com website on March 2, 2006 in connection with a bomb blast in Karachi, while reverse image search.

Explanation
