During a three-day audit/ride of 28 places owned by Paul Dhinakaran, the pastor of Karunya University in Coimbatore and head of the organization “Jesus Calls”, it was revealed that Rs 118 crore had been invested in various companies without accounting for the last 20 to 22 days.
Authorities also seized 4.7 kg of gold from a Karunya University guest house. Following this, a summon was sent to Paul Dhinakaran on behalf of the Income Tax Department.
The inquiry by the Income Tax Department into the places owned by Paul Dhinakaran also caused a stir with the news of an unaccounted investment of Rs 118 crore and 4.7 gold found there. Meanwhile, a photo has been shared on social media as money was seized from Paul Dhinakaran’s house.

The income tax audit was based on complaints that the Christian organization “Jesus Calls” was receiving money from abroad and tax evasion. According to the Hindu Tamil, the investigation has revealed that Paul Dhinakaran has kept the funds received from abroad in foreign companies for his religious campaign meetings in India and abroad and has invested in many private properties.
