The viral posts in Hindi read as “गीत में जैसे ही “मथुरा भी सजा देंगे” बजते ही #महाराजजी का जोश देखकर तो लगता है, कि उसका भी फैसला होकर रहेगा… जय श्री कृष्णा”
What is the truth?
When searching with the keywords from the viral post, we found a similar video of a person in saffron attire listening to a different song while traveling in a car. This video from a Youtube channel dated 9, January 2022 also claimed that the person in saffron attire is Yogi Adityanath.
However, the above-mentioned claim is quoted to be false by the Twitter page ‘Info Uttar Pradesh Fact Check’ on 9, January 2022. The tweet carried the screenshot of the above video with the caption “A person sitting in a viral video listening to bhajan in a moving car is being told as Honorable Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, which is completely untrue. Please refrain from sharing misleading posts on social media.”

The viral video was found posted by a Facebook user Yogi Satyanath on 7, March 2023 with the caption ‘Jai Shri Ram to all Ram devotees’.
And to one of the comments ‘this is not Yogi ji’, Yogi Satyanath seems to have replied “Yogi ji is the only one. This is not the most respected Yogi Adityanath ji, this is Yogi servant Yogi Satyanath ji”.
A video of a person in saffron attire being chased away by police from an event is circulated with a similar claim that it is UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Youturn fact-checked and published an article on the same.
