The shared infographic poster bears the logo of the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. The notice for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors and Constables in the Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force was further stated on the form. A claim is made in this post that recruiting is taking place for the 4660 constables and SI positions in the Railway Protection Force. One can view a similar claim post here.

What’s the truth?

We began our analysis by searching for pertinent keywords on Google, such as “Railway Constable Recruitment,” “Railway SI post,” and “Railway Recruitment form 2024.” Our entire search resulted in a tweet from PIB Fact Check.

The PIB X post confirms that the circulating infographic recruitment notice is fake. The post is captioned as “A Fake notice issued in name of Railway Ministry regarding recruitment of sub-inspector & constable in Railway Protection force is circulating on social media.”

They went on to add, “No such notice has been issued by @RailMinIndia, and also never share your personal/ financial information.”

They further shared the infographic poster with a fake seal on it.

This information makes it clear that the viral infographic poster about railway recruitment applications is fake.


Therefore, we conclude that the viral poster claiming that Recruitment for SI and Constables in the Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force for 4660 posts is fake.

PIB has clarified the news and released a statement regarding the same.
