A 15-second video went viral where the voices of the people who cheered when Prime Minister Modi said Good Evening Chennai, Vanakkam, disappeared when he said Namaste.

However, in a video shared by Tamil Nadu BJP’s social media and IT wing head, CTR Nirmal Kumar, it appears as if the people were cheering even as Prime Minister Modi said Namaste.

The viral video was first posted on the Facebook page ‘Tamil Roasters’. Looking at the video posted on the Facebook page, it has been criticized for people becomingg silent when Prime Minister Modi said Namaste.

After that, while examining the complete video of the program released on the Podhigai channel, at 1:50:14, the voices of the people who cheered when Prime Minister Modi said Good Evening Chennai, Vanakkam can be heard fading away when he said Namaste.

In a video posted by Tamil Nadu BJP’s head of IT, Nirmal Kumar, the sound that people cheered when Prime Minister Modi says vanakkam has been inserted in the clip while saying Namaste. In both cases, an identical whistling sound can be heard at the end of the cheered sound.
