Explanation

What is the Truth?

Narendra Modi visited Rome in Italy to take part in the G20 summit on October 30 and 31. During his trip, he visited Pope Francis in the Vatican.

Pictures of Narendra Modi getting out of the car and the backside view of the car claiming that the vehicle used for Modi’s travel in Italy is a rented taxi are viral across India.

The viral pictures have the logo of ANI News and hence we searched the posts of ANI News. The pictures were posted on the ANI page describing it as “PM Narendra Modi departs from the Vatican after his meeting with Pope Francis”.

And the backside view of the car did not have the sticker mentioning it as a taxi, and it is evident that it is edited.

Conclusion

Picture of Narendra Modi getting out of a car claiming that the Italian government made him travel in a taxi is photoshopped and fake.
