What is the truth?

When translating the Arabic words seen in the viral video using Google Lens, we found the words ‘Thaer Abu Zubaida’s prank at the Islamic University’ written on the video.

When reverse searching keyframes of the viral video, we found multiple videos posted on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. All these posts mention the video as a prank by Thaer Abu Zubaida.

When searching further with relevant keywords in Arabic, we found that the video is viral on TikTok. The viral video is of 25 seconds, but we found a few TikTok videos of 1:47 minutes length carrying matching visuals from the viral video.

As TikTok is restricted here, we tried downloading the video posted by a TikTok user Ahmad Shadan and when checking it, we found that it was indeed a prank. The full-length video shows the viral clip in the beginning and later reveals the camera placed inside the food truck. It also shows the visuals of the customer laughing and having a conversation with the person whom he fought with in the former part.

This proves that the Muslim shopkeeper did not spit in the juice before serving it to the customer. And this is not a practice in Islam as claimed by some of the social media users often.
