Meanwhile, a picture of an elderly man sitting with a sewing machine in posts about Tailor Kanhaiya has also been shared on social media. The image was used in a post on the Indu Makkal Katchi’s Twitter page.

What is the truth?
The video taken when Tailor Kanhaiya was murdered in Rajasthan and the picture published on news websites and the claimed photo are different.
Adding to that, doing a reverse image search of the person with a sewing machine shared on social media, the photo-selling website Shutterstock has revealed that the actual photo was taken in Jodhpur in 2015.
An illustration of an elderly Tailor taken in Jodhpur in 2015 is wrongly shared in posts about Udaipur Kanhaiya’s death.
Conclusion
It was not Kanhaiya in the picture with the sewing machine being shared on social websites in connection with the murder of Tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Rajasthan, it can be identified as the picture released on Shutterstock in 2015.
