When searching for the keywords on Google, it is found that Russian actors indeed performed in Ramlila in Ayodhya. But the crew of 12 Russian artists does not feature in the viral image.
‘The Hindu’ article dated 20, October 2022 titled ‘Russian Ram Leela treat for PM Modi in Ayodhya’ mentions the Russian team.
‘Times of India’ article dated 23, October 2022 published a set of pictures of Russian actors. And it mentioned that a total of 120 artists from eight countries will descend on the main stage for Deepotsav celebrations.
When searching for the Deepotsav celebration pictures, a person in the viral picture was identified as Shivya Pathania from a TOI article titled “Shivya Pathania welcomed as Devi Sita by PM Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh’s CM Yogi Adityanath at Ayodhya Deepotsav 2022”.
Shiva Pathania’s Instagram post about the event was linked in the same article. She captioned the event post as ‘Deepawali In Ayodhaya as Devi Sita welcomed by Narendra Modi Ji Yogi Adityanath Ji. Unreal unimaginable once in a lifetime’. Her profile says that she is an actor. Further search revealed that she belongs to India.
When searching further to check the details of the exact viral picture, the ‘Siddhant Samachar’ website seems to have published it in one of its articles. And the viral picture seems to have been captured on the same occasion.
