A spectacular 30-second video has gone viral on social media which is claimed to be taken at Sathyamangalam Dhimbam hill station with flashing vehicle lights at night. The video, which was posted on Ravi Chandran’s Facebook page, has gone viral with over 11,000 shares and over 2 lakh views.

Fact Check:

The video that went viral was not taken on Sathyamangalam Dhimbam hill station. While searching for the video, we find a video captioned as Nandi Hills area on May 31, 2020, on a Malayalam YouTube channel.

Nandi Hills is located at a distance of 61 km from Bangalore in Karnataka. The video was taken in the early hours of the morning. A video of aerial footage taken in the Nandi Hills area during the day has been released in 2018.

Explanation

In our search, the viral video which claimed to be taken at Sathyamangalam Dhimbam Hill Trail at night view was really taken in the Nandi Hills area of ​​Karnataka. This video is not currently taken. The video has been featured on YouTube channels since May 2020.
